2013 Summer Leadership Team

Bruce Doty: Maintenance Foreman Karlyn Doty: Infirmary Director
Bruce and Karlyn joined the TVRC seasonal team in the summer of 2006 eager to work at a western camp. Karlyn, a Family Nurse Practitioner, has been running the Infirmary for the past 7 summers, while Bruce keeps the ranch running smoothly by fixing everything as the Maintenance Foreman. This year they are very excited to have an addition to bring with them, their baby boy Garrett. When not at TVRC, Bruce and Karlyn love the outdoors: hiking, camping, fishing and snowmobiling in the Midwest . At home in Bloomington , IN , Karlyn works as an NP at Indiana University while Bruce works for himself using his maintenance and construction skills. Bruce and Karlyn enjoy spending time with campers, staff and using their costume box for themed dinners. They are excited for another great summer at TVRC making kids and staff SMILE!
Tara Coyle: Parent Coordinator
This is my second year at Teton Valley, and I can't wait to come back and keep the adventure going! I am a senior Creative Writing major and Anthropology minor at Colorado College. I love going to school out west and taking advantage of all the outdoors have to offer. I am an avid skier, and I try to make it up to the mountains every weekend I can. I also really enjoy hiking, climbing, and exploring the "Colorful Colorado." I absolutely love the midwest, but the mountains have quickly stolen my heart. I can't imagine a better place to spend my summer! I spent this past fall studying abroad in Galway, Ireland, and I had the experience of a lifetime. I am so excited to return to Teton Valley Ranch Camp and continue making wonderful memories.

Kirt Jones: Head Chef
With a degree in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management, cooking is my career... but summer camp is my life. I've been working at summer camps for the past 8 years in every capacity, and I have been cooking professionally for the past 4 years. During the non-camp season I am the head chef at Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at Indiana University. This is my second year at TVRC, and I am excited to bring new ideas and a growing knowledge to the TVRC community. I am looking forward to making new friends, creating new memories, and having a lasting impact. I am thankful to have the opportunity to combine my two passions for another great summer at TVRC!

Alex Razzolini: Head of Barn
I grew up in a small farm town called Marilla, NY about 30 minutes outside of Buffalo. My love for the outdoors was instilled in me by my father through hunting, fishing, backpacking and horseback riding. I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2010 with an Economics Management degree. While attending OWU I was a 4-year letter winner for the varsity men's lacrosse team and captain my senior year. This will be my fifth summer working at TVRC. After my second year on the ranch I decided to make Jackson Hole my permanent home. During the winters I work for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the Bridger Center and try to hit the slopes as many days as I can. After a great first summer as Head of the Barn last year, I cannot wait to bring back my enthusiasm and experience to a second year in the position.
John Klamer: Head of Fishing
This past year, I have graduated from the University of Missouri as a Finance and Banking major. After recently learning that I was accepted to UMKC School of Dentistry, I could not think of any better way to spend my summer before starting my next chapter! This will be my sixth summer at TVRC, and what I look forward to the most is sharing my passion for fly fishing and the outdoors with the campers. Lastly, what makes camp so special to me is the fact that I get to work with the greatest individuals at the best summer camp in the country!
