Each day at TVRC is filled with adventure and fun through experiential learning and recreational opportunities. A wide variety of activities are provided throughout the summer.
From horseback riding to fly fishing and lapidary to archery, campers get the chance to try their hand in numerous arenas. TVRC is unique in that campers choose their activities each day.
After breakfast campers assemble at the activity fence to hear about all of the wonderful opportunities offered that day and decide how they will spend their morning. Again, after lunch and rest hour, campers meet to choose what they will do for the afternoon. While campers always have their favorite activities, each child is encouraged to try every activity offered during their stay at the ranch.
In addition to a wide range of half-day activities, several day trips go out each day. These trips include fishing expeditions, trail rides, day hikes, and Discovery adventures. With such a myriad of opportunities right in our backyard, the campers love to take advantage of these trips. From swimming in high alpine lakes to fishing a stretch of a pristine river, day trips are always a hit.
Finally, campers explore the backcountry like never before while at TVRC. Every camper gets the opportunity to go on a backpack and a pack trip and really explore the wonders and beauty that Wyoming has to offer.
